Inspiration for this design originally came from the need of a doorstop in our lounge and then a cat-loving friend wanted us to make one for her. And hence our first range of kitty cats was born!
Our cats have proved so successful that we sold out our original range - after purchasing some more beautiful (unused) vintage fabrics we have just completed additional ranges.
This characterful cat doorstop, or bookend, is made from thick upholstery grade textured satin. The face has been hand embroidered and the fabric carefully placed to make the most of this beautiful floral pattern. It also makes, so our customers tell us, a beautiful decoration in its own right.
